Delwann Shahid
Delwann Shakeil Shahid was born November 12th of 1995, and was raised by the late Evangelist Jean Johnson.Evangelist Johnson saw the oil of God over Delwann’s life at a very young age. He delivered his first sermon entitled "The Good Shepherd"at the young age of 4. It was evident even then that he was destined for ministry. Delwann was baptized at the age of seven and received the gift of the holy spirit at the age of twelve. He enjoyed signing and preaching to his brothers and sisters to compel them to see God the way that he saw Him. Delwann has a heart for music and ministry serving as a musician, praise and worship leader and young minister in the church. He is often called upon by many churches to minister with one of his many gifts.
In 2014, Delwann graduated from Plymouth Educational Center Preparatory High School and within the same year graduated from Wayne County Community College with his Associates Degree in Relational Psychology. While also pursuing his seminary studies, Delwann currently attends the University of Michigan in hopes of obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Political Science. In attendance at the University of Michigan, Delwann has chaired over three organizations and sat on the University of Michigan’s chancellor’s student board while serving as a senator on the U of M student government. In addition to overseeing his collegiate organizations, Delwann has lead unity marches, organized community acts of solidarity, oversaw breast cancer walks, directed food giveaways and served and an advocate for adolescent youth and minorities within his community. He was blessed to start a campus youth ministry that currently still flourishes under new leadership today. Delwann currently serves as the Youth Pastor of Victory Fellowship Church of Detroit,MI under the leadership of Thomas E. Livingston pastor and founder.
Delwann has a heart for people and has been called by God to serve. He has served his community by acting as a political activist, life coach and the voice for
millennial's. For it is upon the shoulders of many that he stands.
